What Comes First!

How we order lists is, I think, an indicator of our priorities. In Matthew 28.16-20, the gospel reading for Trinity Sunday, it's important to note that making disciples comes before baptizing people. Making disciples is about inviting people to walk with us the path of Jesus. It's in the walking that we come to learn how to be a disciple of the Way and then come to commit ourselves.
