The Blessing of Dry Socks on a Rainy Day

Many of you know about the Breakfast Program: for the past 30 years, Holy Trinity Cathedral has served a hot healthy breakfast once a week to members of our community.

But did you know we also distribute toiletries, clothing items, and even have a small library of books to share?  

The Dry Sock Project is entering its 7th year now and thanks to Ellen’s meticulous bookkeeping and willingness to shop for socks we have an accurate account from its inception on February 20, 2015 to present. HTC has purchased 10,857 pairs of socks during that time and more have been donated over the years, increasing our total distribution. We can safely assume that 12,000 of our neighbours have left HTC with the potential for warm, dry, and healthy feet thanks to the Dry Sock Project and its supporting friends and agencies!
