Political Power and Prophetic Authority

In this coming Sunday's Gospel we hear a familiar tale of how political power and prophetic authority interact.  This interaction is also implicit in Call to Action #6 from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission regarding the repeal of Section 43 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
