Pure Hearts, Honest Hearts, Happy Hearts

In this Sunday's reading from the prophet Jeremiah, we hear the familiar message that God will engrave God's law upon our hearts.  Among the many ways of understanding this text, one way is a reminder of our need to cultivate our hearts as the dwelling-place of wisdom, faithfulness and integrity.
