The Cost of Speaking the Truth

Today two events come together, the death of Archbishop Desmond Tutu this past Sunday and the Feast of the Holy Innocents.  In both events we see what it means to speak the truth to power and the consequences of such courage and of the rage that the truth can arouse in those who have power.
