Thursday, 30 September 2021, will be the first federally-mandated National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, one of the 'Calls to Action' of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

This Day is not a 'holiday' but a day for all Canadians to consider how each one of us can be an agent of truth and reconciliation in all those places where we live and work.

Our Office will be closed tomorrow as a small act of solidarity with our Indigenous neighbours.  As your Vicar I ask all of you to spend a dedicated period of time tomorrow in prayer and reflection.

On our Diocesan website our Bishop has posted a Pastoral Letter with recommendations as to how we may keep this day.
